| A slight variation here as the cows and trees are more unevenly placed but still with a simple background of grass and sky (more or less on the "rule of thirds") and minimal distance detail.
I went back to the Glasgow Boys' semi abstract patterned surround where leaves and foliage just become a juxtaposed jigsaw of brush marks serving to accentuate the clean shapes of the subjects' heads. |
