The area of the north of England where I live is filled with with old farm buildings and machinery. Most of course are working farms dealing with dairy herds of Friesian cattle (the black and white ones).Many of the farm buildings date back several hundred years and little has changed since. In these pictures I have endeavoured to capture the timeless essence of the old working lifestyle.
